The Krashna Chamber Orchestra performs Bach, Haydn and Shostakovich!

9/27/2020, 20:15

We're back! We had to postpone this concert, originally planned in March, 3 days before it was to take place, due to the government measures against the coronavirus. Now, with precautions taken to keep musicians and audience members safe, we're performing this concert, albeit in a different location. We can't wait to see you there! Make sure to sign up in advance.

27 enthusiastic students, 3 pieces and 1 conductor! That’s the 2020 edition of D.S.M.G. Krashna Musika’s chamber orchestra, led by Ben Weishaupt. The orchestra will perform a diverse selection of pieces from the baroque, classical, and modern periods: Bach’s first orchestral suite, Haydn’s 45th symphony (“Farewell”) and pieces from Shostakovich’s 24 preludes and fugues. This last work has been jointly arranged for chamber orchestra by four members of Krashna Musika, especially for this concert!

Curious? On Sunday, September 27, Krashna’s chamber orchestra will perform these pieces in a unique location - an indoor skatepark in The Hague - at 20:15! Tickets are €12.50 (regular) and €7.50 (under 25 years old). Please reserve in advance: Send a mail to krashko@krashna.nl with the number of tickets you would like to reserve and your name. Due to the current situation, we cannot sell tickets at the door, so please make sure to send us an email in advance to reserve a spot.
